A pet python photographed on Qui (Turtle) Island in the Mekong Delta in Vietnam in March 2008. It was difficult to get a good photo as they have narrow thin heads that constantly move around. The snake was about 4 metres long.

Pet python

Python!
A three metre olive python that came into the lounge of our house on Elcho Island, Northern Territory, Australia in May 2008. Although long, it is relatively harmless and we gently shepherded it back into the swamp behind our house. I am told that they make great pets!
