Hawking style

Look how stylish the street vendor is. Incredible. Not what you would expect from someone hawking peanut brittle on a Hoi An street. And doesn't the conical hat look great on her also! usually the street hawkers are at the bottom of the economic tree but she appears to be different. I would love to know here story. It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words but it won't help solve this riddle. Taken in March 2008.

People power

This is an arresting image, taken in Hoi An, Vietnam in March 2008. The guy in the bicycle wheelchair is disabled and moves the bicycle forward using his hands in a pumping type action. Not easy. I like the expression on the lady who is talking to him, and her pointed finger and smile speaks volumes. I love the conical hat on the vendor, a classic look accentuated by her long black ponytail. And then the fourth person has an intense and preoccupied look. The contrasts all come together nicely. Gee, I think I might have over analysed this one!
