Eating bugs!

My friend Duan grew up in Surin in Isan province where eating bugs is a local delicacy. She saw a roadside vendor selling these fried crickets for sale and happily snacked on them as we walked to the subway station. Being a vegetarian, I passed. Photos taken in Bangkok in October 2008
