Paperbark swamp

A classic "top end" landscape scene, paperback trees in a billabong fringed with Pandanus. You would never see this in southern Australia. You would only see this landscape in the tropics of north Australia. the reflection sets composition off nicely. Taken at at Edith Falls just north of Katherine in the Northern Territory in April 2008.
