Paperbark bark

Paperbark tree barks (one singed by fire) adjacent to Bralmana waterhole near Gapuwiyak, taken in November 2008. I love peeling off little strips and playing with it. It is soft and has a lovely texture.

Paperbark tree

I took this photo of a Paperbark tree in Darwin in June 2008. I love their texture and often will pull off a little piece and play with it as I walk along. So soft.

Peeling paint

The name tag for a block of flats in Randwick, Sydney. The building is old and dilapidated, as is the sign. I like the texture and colours of the peeling paint. Photographed in February 2008
