A pretty sculpture in the cubism style depicting a mother and her children in the Cong Vien Van Hoa Park in Saigon, Vietnam and which I took in March 2008. An arresting, compelling image but it could have been done by anyone, anywhere. Where is the authentic Vietnamese style or tradition. It must exist, but this sculpture park seems to only have space for the revolutionary, European or heroic styles. Pity. Still, although taken out of context, it is a nice piece.

Cubism
