This shot was taken on Elcho Island in May 2008. It is of a shell on an overturned dinghy. I had found the shell a few minutes earlier. It was huge, around 25 cm long, and so when I came across this abandoned dinghy i pout it on there while I looked for yet more shells. The beautiful late afternoon light was calling out to be photographed ...
