Tame Rosella
I was in my garden in Canberra, February 2008, bringing in the washing when this Crimson Rosella (Platycercus elegans) appeared. I went and got my camera. It was obviously used to people and it had a companion with it that kept it's distance. It demanded food and I went and got some sunflower seeds which it happily ate, making strange chirping and whistling sounds, while I took photos and video clips. Eventually it flew away and has never returned. More photos here and video clips here and here.
