Bogged, pt. 2
Driving through this puddle as part of our 4wd training in Darwin in March 2008 I got hopelessly bogged! We then had to get the vehicle out. A good training experience but I was the butt of many jokes from my colleagues! Before our second vehicle arrived a passerby with a very interesting tattoo came by and we used his vehicle to pull us out.

Surely it's cheating to have a passer-by pull you out when you're on a course?!? Or maybe that's what it's all about in the bush - being resourceful and using whatever means are available!

It wasn't a pass or fail type of course, just teaching us defensive driving and recovery techniques. And yes, out in the bush we all help each other when something goer wrong.
