These photos of a large saltwater crocodile were taken on the Adelaide river, Northern Territory, in March 2008. We were on a cruise in the river in a small pontoon boat. The croc, at 5 metres in length, was not that much smaller than the boat and the tour guide fed it raw meat. very exhilarating and a little scary! It took the meat but was actually far more interested in having one of us for dinner!
