Football is huge in Thailand, and no team is more avidly followed than Manchester United. I photographed this advertisement for a Manchester United credit card at the entrance to the Sala Daeng Skytrain station in Bangkok in October 2008. The pretty girls next to the sign give you some idea of its size. It was also bang in the middle of the entrance, blocking the way so you had to walk around it. Not very subtle, but no doubt very effective.
