A Crimson Finch (Neochmia phaeton) at the Nhulunbuy Town Lagoon, Northern Territory, December 2008. There wasn't much light, it was overcast in the early evening, so I had to shoot at ISO 3200, F5.6, 1/500. That is why there is a lot of noise (graininess) in the photo. These are tiny birds (12-14 cm long). Fortunately it stayed still just long enough for me to capture it.
