Bronya and Elena and Angel posing at a giant termite mound at Litchfield National Park, Northern Territory, Australia in January 2009. The second photo looks blurry because it was raining and there was a water droplet on the lens. I have included a photo of the same termite mound, which I took over 12 years earlier in 1995, with my colleague Nancy posing in front of it. As you can see, the termite mound is slowly but surely crumbling.
