Ruins of St Pauls

The ruins of St Paul's Cathedral (Ruínas de São Paulo, 大三巴牌坊) in Macau in July 2009. Built from 1582 to 1602 by the Jesuits, the cathedral was the largest Catholic church in Asia at the time. It was destroyed by a fire during a typhoon in 1835. Spectacular. It was made a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2005
