Respect for country
This is an interesting photo taken on the Darwin Esplanade in February 2008. It was erected by the local Indigenous people in Darwin, the Larrakia and is aimed at non-Larrakia Indigenous people in the are, so called long grassers, who were sleeping rough on the Darwin foreshore and harassing (humbugging is the local term) tourists and residents alike. Now that alcohol restrictions have been imposed over this area the problem has lessened with the long grassers moving elsewhere.
